Kiritsuke? I think the knife is Bunka.

The profile of the blade fits the profile of the Bunka, the manufacturer designates the knife as Bunka, the seller is allowed to sell the knife as Kiritsuke. This is my first powder steel knife (R2/SG2). Blade really thin. I sharpened the knife after taking it out of the box, this is because I sharpened the left side differently than the right. This is because the knife cuts equally well when pushed and pulled. I have been sharpening Japanese knives for 15 years about every other week. The blade of the knife is really thin and cuts very well. I have tried Western handles on Japanese knives, I am a supporter of the Wa handle (octagonal). Suncraft's handle fits well in the hand, there is a fine mosaic rivet in the middle of the handle. I hold the knife with a pinch grip, thumb and forefinger hold the edge of the blade and the rest are around the handle. The knife is well balanced and you can do precise work with it. I have cut meat and vegetables, the knife is of high quality and I can warmly recommend it to home cooks and professionals. A quality knife.
