Yaxell Zen Chef's knife, 20 cm

A chef's knife is the most important tool in the kitchen and the Yaxell Zen Chef's Knife is the perfect choice for all your cutting jobs. Its 20 cm long blade is made using the traditional 37-layer forging method, which guarantees first-class sharpness and durability. This Japanese knife is expertly crafted and has a blade hardness of HRC61, making it one of the highest quality kitchen knives on the market.

The features of the knife exude quality: the overall length is 34 cm, and it is light in the hand, weighing only 218 grams. The width of the blade is 4.4 cm and the thickness is 2 mm, which makes it a thin and precise tool. Like Japanese knives, the blade of the Yaxell Zen is also very hard and thin metal, so it is important to use it correctly; do not beat or twist the knife against hard ingredients such as bony meat or coconut.

Take care of your knife by washing it by hand immediately after use and drying it carefully. During storage, it is ensured that the blade does not touch other metal objects in order to maintain its sharpness.

Order the Yaxell Zen Chef's Knife today and take the functionality of your kitchen to a new level! You can also order it with engraving, so you can make the knife even more personal.

A great chef's knife

This is one of my two Yaxell chef's knives (Zen + Ran) and in my opinion the better of the two. The knife feels good in the hand and the sharpness is top class. In relation to layering, anything with more than 10 layers mainly affects the appearance, so for a price/quality-conscious consumer, this knife is definitely a more attractive choice than, for example, big brother Ran. I recommend buying a wooden blade guard (product no. 37280) to keep the blade in top condition for longer.
